At the time of this, Ive had the couch less than 2 months.
Shipping, it comes in 4 boxes. One box didnt arrive, had to reorder, then refuse 3 of the boxes. Now that I have waited a month, I finally have the thing assembled. That is where this clock starts ticking.
It is fairly light weight, this means the quality of wood is not the best. It is not the most sturdy furniture you will find. Far from it.
Cushions- For some inane reason, they are attached to the cover. Trying to get them disconnected is a real pain in the ....neck (to avoid the profanity filter).
Kid spilled some juice. Washed the whole cushion as I could get it detached. It did come out completely. So the fabric is pretty good.
Comfort - meh, its a bit too upright for my tastes, Up sit like you are in a formal tea ceremony. Straight up. Cushions themselves are pretty comfortable. The cushions do tend to slide out, but easy to put back in.
Sturdiness- now we get to the nuts and bolts...or rather cheap wood. I (200lbs) sat down on one of the supports (underside supports that line up roughly where the cushions meet on top. Loud crack. Honestly, its more comfortable now, no hard line under your butt. Butt...now I have to reinforce it so it doesnt completely break.
Great starter couch for kids (unless they jump on it- but of course, kids never jump on furniture). If you are 100lbs sopping wet...probably a good buy. If you are an average weight man (175) this couch will break.
Another annoying thing is this is a two piece couch, but no way to connect them and prevent them from sliding apart. I solved this with $20 of locking C clamps from Lowes. This allows for me to reverse the chaise lounge without drilling holes or breaking the fabric anywhere.
Biggest complaint is the weakness of the wood. Buyer beware.
Update (4 days after posting the main review).
I was sitting on the couch. I had already reinforced the broken support. I adjusted how I was sitting and hear a second loud crack. Surprise, broke a second support. So tomorrow I get to brace that one as well.
$600 wasted. They will only take returns IF it is in the original boxes. Guess I am going to Frankenstein this thing with as much REAL wood and metal supports as I can.
Decent but far from the best
