The color is rich. Seat is a bit firm but could relax after some use. The depth of the seat is pretty deep but I added a throw pillow for support and its perfect. I knocked off a star for the shipping packaging. The attached legs had poked a hole in the box causing several of the washers to be lost during shipping. I had to go to 3 different stores to find replacements. Chair was easy to assemble by myself, second person not needed.
