This futon is attractive and comfortable yet very small, 56 long and legs about 6 so it sits very low, about 1ft off the floor. Not sure how most adults could sleep on it as I am 510 and my feet hang off the end when I lay down. However, it is exactly what I was looking for due to a small space issue, but if you are looking for a regular size futon you will be disappointed. Exactly what I was looking for
