I love the velvet and I think its very comfortable! Definitely not a sink in couch, but I personally prefer it a little firmer. Easy to assemble BUT the directions went from Step 1 to Step 3 but luckily we caught it. It was delivered within 4 weeks but no one ever called me to set it up. The delivery date on kept changing and saying that they had called me which is not true. Overall very happy with the purchase though. Looks great and works great!
