This adjustable bed frame has only been used a couple of days now and I really love it!
When opening the box we thought we would need help (in our 70s). we thought it would be flat in the box and would only have to put on the legs. But it was folded. This is the twin xl for me.
You have to put on the legs, turn it over, and then install the decking which was 4 pieces.
Instructions were easy to follow and all parts were numbered. We were able to do it all ourselves.
We placed the legs on, and then turned it over, placing the frame where it was going before installing the decking. This way we did not have all the weight on it.
Easy install.
I used an existing Purple mattress, twin size, not xl. I was worried this would not work as the frame is an xl.
But the extra frame is at the top, so it is working fine. I am 55, but a taller person might not be able to get away with the twin on the xl frame. Your height at the top would make a huge difference. Its perfect for me.
Its not noisy, but you can hear it. The slight sound does not bother me. It adjusts smoothly for all functions.
This type of adjustable bed, when the head is up, will put you forward enough that you will not be able to reach your bedside table, so keep that in mind. You will probably need to bring your table forward.
I left mine where it is, and place another bedside table along one side of my bed since I have the room to do this. It works perfectly.
My only concern about this frame is that the decking comes out further than the supporting frame, so I am worried about sitting on the edge of the bed. So far I have been trying to make sure that most of my weight is further back when sitting on the side of the bed.
The remote has a nice feel and is easy to operate. It does not light up until after you press a button so you will have to learn by touch when first touching it in the dark.
This is so much better than the wedge pillow I was using!
I highly recommend this adjustable bed. If any part of my review changes as I use this, I will update.
Adjusts easily!
