Assembled alone. It was easy. It is cute. Fabric is soft and pretty. I will use for extra sleeping, but will need a twin airmattress. So basically its a pretty airmattress platform. I did read that it was hard. As a person with back issues, hard is usually good, but NO. It is hard like a wood bench hard. That said, it was super cheap on sale. It is so uncomfortable, this can not be overstated. So be aware, because when people say they like its firmness, theyre just trying to assure themselves they didnt make a big mistake. I will be buying a comfortable chair, leaving this for the occasional guest to have a place to perch during short visits.
