I purchased this mid century modern console table to go behind my couch. It is easy to assemble and is a sturdy, fairly heavy piece of furniture. I recommend carefully taking the drawers out if you are assembling it by yourself to reduce the weight. It requires that you install the legs which was easy. I really like this piece of furniture! It would also work well as a sideboard in a dining room or as media stand for a TV. Great purchase.
