Small but slightly larger than normal twin mattress opening.
Smaller , but went together well and fast. Tighten the bolts / nuts and install all pieces. This bed is still sturdy, no bent bars, no broken welds, has been put together and used since Christmas 2018. So far so good Pay attention to the pictures!
