I love this! I was under the impression that furniture that needed to be assembled, was generally of pretty cheap quality and we just needed this for use a few nights a year when we have guests, so I was willing to deal with that. However, as far as I can tell, this is all solid wood and appears to be of really nice quality. It looks like it would cost a lot more than it does. As for assembly, reading the reviews will prepare you for the worst, and then you will probably be pleasantly surprised. I was able to assemble it without any help in about 90 minutes. As long as you think through each move about 2 steps ahead and dont rush, it will go well.
