At this price range, the item is made of particle board, but it is very well/made. Assembly is pretty straight/forward, and extra screws are provided. It turned out to be a very nice/looking, stable piece! The last page of instructions shows the installation of little drawer stoppers, but there didnt seem to be a predetermined places to install those. Possible that I missed something, but things work fine without them. Buy it again.
