Sturdy. I was surprised by the quality of this frame. I did a lot of research before I purchased this frame and Im glad I settled on this one. This frame is solid wood with a center support rail. Frame feels sturdy and looks too notch, it was also very easy to assemble. Package is heavy and I could see how it would be hard for one person to carry but well worth it for the quality.
