Get it!! This product blew me away. I was first nervous about the shipping seeing as the estimate was so long. It took less than a week to ship via UPS when I was estimated one to two months. The box was slightly damaged however the company boxes the product twice along with thick cardboard filler and plastic covered styrofoam (thank you for not making me have to vacuum little styrofoam balls!) so there was no chance a small puncture in the box affected the quality of the product. The wood looks expensive and has wood knots in places that add texture. The assembly is pure genius, comes with spare parts, and so easy, an eight year old could put it together. I had it up by myself in about 15 minutes. The center bar which is the only is topped with a velvet strip to reduce noise on the flat planks. The planks are secured in with Velcro and a peg and are sure not to slide around. Im overwhelmed by how great the frame is and only wish the company made more furniture! This is an gem.
