I ordered the ceiling fan for a small room in my home where a larger fan would have felt more obtrusive. this is certainly a fan for small spaces, and it would not be enough to cool a large room, however it is perfect for a small guest room. The fan style is basic and doesnt take up too much space, while having a finish that feels very modern. The two-tone colors on the pedals are a nice bonus, I chose to use the dark side to match my furniture. I had a handyman install the fan, so I cant speak to the ease of installation permanently, however they did say there was nothing out of the ordinary with the install and it happened rather quickly. the fan does an effective job of cooling the room and the remote works well. It is all rather straightforward, and for this price I found it to be a very satisfactory fan. I happily recommend it.
