Selected this fan unit because of its design and being able to install it outside. Overall, not a difficult install BUT, beware the remote unit battery positions are incorrect from the manufacturer. Install the 2 remote batteries in the opposite direction. This was verified by the seller. The remote will not work properly unless you install the batteries in the opposite direction as indicated on the remote.
