I bought this fan for a gazebo. Installation was pretty standard for a ceiling fan. The directions were decent. I have seen better remote controls, but all the functions work. The fan itself is gorgeous. The wood blades are stunning. Even at low speeds, it puts out a good bit of air. The light kit has three modes, all putting out a good deal of light.
