Too tall / my feet dangle and it dwarfs my other furniture
This is a good looking couch and pretty comfortable (bottom cushion is pretty firm but I like it). The proportions of the seat depth and height are much larger than I anticipated. I measured the length and width before ordering, but when we set it up, the seat height is 5 taller than our other couch and even more above the vintage MCM chairs we had next to it. The depth of the seat makes it comfortable to lay on but I will need a pillow to sit on it (Im 53, my 510 husband also wants a pillow at his back for sitting on it). We are going to try cutting down the length of the legs so it doesnt seem like youre towering over people on the other furniture since returning it would be quite a feat at this point. Also / fabric easily snags if you have a cat that might try it out as a scratching post Not super thrilled with the adventure of purchasing such a large furniture piece online.
