Adequate but Chinese quality is apparent

I bought two of these chairs and initially they appeared to be fairly easy to put together. Once it came to attaching the arms, the trouble began. On the first chair, one of the screws was messed up but fortunately there is an extra provided. Also, I changed the order of assembly by attaching the seat plate before attaching the arms. That made much more sense. Please also consider fully exposing the screw holes on the seat and on the back. The foam gets in the way of inserting the screw, otherwise. I stretched the upholstery around the holes on the seat and the back to accommodate insertion of the screws. As far as function, the chairs height adjustments are adequate for both my husband (6ft tall) and myself (5ft 4 inches tall). The tilt function of the chair is incredibly subtle. I really cant tell the difference either way. The cushioning is nice. The faux (fake!) leather looks nicer than it is and feels of greater quality as well. Bottom line: For approximately $100 this chair is nice. Always remember you get what you pay for. I work from home one day a week. My husband uses his chair to game on his PC and he spends probably 40 hours a week doing so. This chair is better than the dining room chair he was using for this purpose. UPDATE: 18 months later these chairs are still working great. Im now working from home 3 days a week. This chair is more comfortable than the one in my office. UPDATE: It is now July 2019 and this chair is still holding up perfectly. Since my last update I have a dedicated home office and began working from home almost exclusively. The leather upholstery is still in great shape and all the parts are still attached. I remain in love with my chair and it is still very comfortable.
