I had ordered several different styles of stools and once I received these I didnt even bother to open the others. First thing I appreciated was that they came fully assembled. They are also very comfortable. I love the metal bar at the bottom, wonderful to rest your feet on and not have to worry about scuffing or damaging the wood. The color says gray, but its more of a taupe color, which is actually what I was looking for. I love everything about these stools
