After a few extra trips to Home Depot, it finally came together. Simple and clean. I purchased all new bolts and screws bc the ones they give you are basically garbage.
As a parent/adult, I could not climb up the ladder. It was excruciating on my feet. I even had my husband test it out and try climbing up. Unfortunately, he couldnt as well. The ladder was made of metal bars with no support. In my opinion, this bed is not made for younger children. Thankfully my child is older and is aware he needs to be careful should he need to go in and out of bed throughout the night.
Note to parents: Top bunk would be hard to clean and change sheets considering the ladder issue. All in all, a solid bunk for older children. its very comfortable
