Nice bed for the price. The bed is low to the ground which is exactly what we wanted so our dogs couldn’t get underneath it. We used a box spring and it made it a little higher but, it’s supposed to be a platform bed. In my opinion there is not enough wood slats to support a mattress alone. It works well with the box spring for us. I will put a fitted white sheet over the box spring so it’s not so visible.
The bed is definitely worth the money we paid for it. I would recommend this product.
