Truly aming craftsmanship and perfect for small spaces!

This piece of furniture is aming. Its a long story, but my family moved to a tiny house, and my husband and I ended up using two standard twins next to each other as a king surrogate. I had box springs on the floor and grew worried about the lack of air circulation, so I started to look for something that was low profile and would enable me to put two twins right up next to each other. I just assembled two of these, and they work beautifully for this purpose. First of all, there is no overhang on any of the four sides. The dimensions match my standard/length twin mattress exactly. Secondly, it is extremely well designed. It reminds me of something the Amish might createso simple yet so elegant and utilitarian. It was actually a pleasure to put together, and I was able to do it easily by myself without my husband here for a second set of hands. I did use an electric drill and a metal hammer to help place the wooden dowels and some other areas. My husband tells me poplar is a good hardwood, and it held up to light hammering, although Id recommend a rubber mallet if you have that (I dont). The bed folds up nicely for great storage, and its easy to move around. The directions even include tips on how to stain it and an explanation about the coloring and composition of poplar wood. I honestly kept thinking how much nicer this furniture is than my expensive Restoration Hardware furniture, which has a disappointing amount of veneer in it. This solid wood item is beautiful and made me appreciate true craftsmanship. Finally, its 100 made in the US of A. How can you beat that? Its excellent quality, brilliantly designed, very reasonably priced, and its American. I will be checking out their other products!
