THE LEGS AND SIDES ARE PLASTIC, NOT WOOD - but its nice!
The legs and sides of this item are an orangey tinted plastic printed with wood grain, they are not by any stretch of the imagination wood. The slats on the bottom are pine. Nonetheless it seems sturdy and fine for my purposes. I will update with more info as I use it. Just be aware the legs are not wood. Calling it wood really seems like false advertising to me.
UPDATE 8 mos later : the bed has held up very well and looks good. I like it very much an upgraded my rating !
