Put this together myself in preparation for Christmas. Felt pretty good about the quality of the materials and instructions. Since I was doing it alone, I ended up having to prop up the slats on a series of throw pillows to hold them all up while trying to attach the second side which probably would have looked ridiculous if anyone had been watching, but it got the job done. My only real complaint is that there are two boards you connect in step 1 that look like they can go either side up. I remember reading a review that warned about this, but of course it slipped my mind when I actually went to put it together. When I got to the last step of attaching the arm rails, of course, I found Id attached the boards in the first step upside down, leaving me two choices. I could disassemble the whole works and chalk up my last 3 hours to a total waste of time, or I could find the right size drill bit and just drill some new stinking holes so my screws had somewhere to bite into. Guess which option I picked? It ended up feeling quite sturdy. While I certainly wouldnt lay down on it, I can sit on it for a few minutes with my toddler to read her a book and not feel like it is going to collapse under me. Worth the price !!!
Good product, be careful when you assemble
