Good loo and sturdy bed, just a couple minor issues with my specific unit.
Overall this is a great sturdy bed frame. My expectations for quality were exceeded and I am happy I chose this one. As the description says the parts are solid wood, not particle board like I am used to from cheap furniture. The appearance is really nice and assembly was pretty easy. Oh yeah, and the packaging was excellent. The parts were well protected by thin foam sheets and there was very minimal styrofoam blocks. I hate when furniture is packed with styrofoam and when I open it its all broken up and little balls go everywhere. With this bed the few styrofoam pieces in the package were in sealed plastic bags. Brilliant!
However there were a couple inconveniences that prevent me from giving 5 stars. Firstly, I bought the full bed but it had instructions for the twin. But it was still easy to figure out how to assemble the extra pieces because the parts are well labeled and numbered. The more bothersome issue was that on a couple of the threaded inserts glue had seeped into the inner threads preventing the mating screw from going in properly. Luckily I had the right tool to remove the offending inserts and scrape out the glue with a knife, but if I didnt it would have been super frustrating.
Overall I am very happy with the frame and I would easily buy it again. If it werent for the messed up inserts I would give it 5 stars.
