I have a very large L desk made out of glass with a rounded middle which this end table fit so I bought it more as a small shelf than an end table and I see that it would probably work better that way. The hollow metal poles that hold up the glass came with severe dents but considering the price point, it didnt matter too much to me. Again, they are very light poles that are indeed hollow and seem to be made of thin aluminum. I wouldnt have a hard time crushing them as one would crush a soda can. Even so, it seems to hold weight just fine. I have a inkjet printer/scanner on the top, a speaker on the bottom and a laptop, DSLR, and some xbox controllers in the middle and I wouldnt worry about anything falling short of a 5.0 magnitude earthquake.
It was indeed insanely easy to put together, it took less than 5 minutes and would have been quicker if I bothered to look at the picture beforehand. Theres not much else to say, I bought it for sub 50 and it blends in well with my glass desk. In the picture on , it looks more rectangular than square due to perspective but I think all sides are the length. Overall, great for organizing my desk more, matching the rest of my glass and the cost was low. Not much to say other than it does what its supposed to do for an affordable price.
Glass is nice, metal poles are a bit iffy.
