Wow, is this a steal at under $500. It's real wood almost throughout, with very few places of laminate. It's really nice-looking and went together very easily. The drawers are a little shallow, but that comes of it being a slim piece - not too big, for those who have a little space issue in their kitchens. We received ours missing a critical piece at first, contacted customer service, and received the missing pieces right away. I really can't recommend this enough.
It serves its purpose. I like it now that we were able to work it out with the manufacturer. We had several pieces that were broken when we received it but it took over a week to get it all figured. I like that they stood behind their product it was just frustrating that I had to talk to 4 different people to get it figure out.
I very much like this piece of furniture. It took me and a friend 7 hours to put together, so plan to take an entire day to devote to this project. Also, my friend and I are both females, and we had no idea how heavy the buffet/hutch would be once they started taking shape. Lifting the hutch up to the top of the buffet almost didn't happen due to the weight so be forewarned. Also, there was some slight damage to one of the pieces. However, I had a stain pen that pretty much took care of the issue. All in all, a good piece of furniture that looks great in my dining area. But it wasn't a Sunday walk in the park putting it together.
With three drawers, two enclosed cabinet doors, nine wine cubbies and a display shelf -- PLUS a stunning, quality surface -- this cabinet will surprise you with its many uses. Ours is placed in a kitchen, and serves as storage for cookbooks, bottled water, and an extra set of dishes. We use the buffet surface for knick knacks and a daily pocket-depository (e.g., keys, coins, glasses, receipts, etc.). ;-) It is the perfect height and maintains a low-profile to the wall. You'll love everything about it -- that is: except for the assembly. That's where quality could be a bit improved -- it took about 3 hours to unpack and assemble! Nonetheless, it serves many masters and you'll find uses for it for years to come.
I am very pleased with this piece. It is as it was described. The size fits perfectly in the limited space that I had to put it. The color matched cabinets which were old in the same room and the piece blends nicely. It was not a nightmare to put together and gives me not only easy moving drawers, a place to put wine bottles and cupboard space that holds glasses but also a space to display a set of handmade bowls above the wine bottles. This was a good purchase for me and I really like the steel top.

I usually don't write reviews, but felt it necessary for this one. This arrived in three days. No missing pieces. All wood, and real metal, no plastic or prefab wood. The door glass is real glass. It was packaged well, and labeled who to call if there is an issue. We did not have any, but was good to know it was available. Being a mass produced item there were a few bumps. One piece was not attached that should have been, but it was easily fixed. Thing also were slightly off so, the piece was not completely tight, but still turned out sturdy and functional. I read many reviews of similar products by this maker, and I was reluctant, but my husband encouraged me to give it a try. I am glad we did. This turned out much better than I thought it would.

As all RTA furniture, putting it together was a little time consuming, the but resulting product was just what we wanted.
