The bed is all metal and sturdy. Easy to assemble. We also purchased the desk and end table. Super cute and a good value for the money. My daughter loves her new room.

con: missing screws. there were more for 1 than 3. ended up using it but it does stick out a little bit. fortunately, it was at the end of the base of the bed that i realized it was missing.
My husband assembled the bed and he did require help to put it together and get up. The bed is definitely sturdy and feels pretty heavy! I do love that it is metal (so much sturdier than wood) but has the look of wood! Our daughter loves that she can stand underneath it (she is 10) and now has more space in her room.
The bed came in one very large and heavy box but everything was well packaged. Bed was not hard to assemble with 2 people. It's very sturdy and beautiful. My daughters room is so much bigger now..we love it.
I was able to put together almost completely by myself. I ended up painting the gold portion a silver to match the room. It can be a little squeaky with movement. The bed is sturdy! My kids (5,4,4) love climbing on around it. I put a queen under it (perpendicular to the loft bed) and it fits great. Overall an awesome purchase. Looking forward to my 5 year old using this for years to come.
My little girl wanted a loft/bunk bed. But I was afraid of her falling off and being way too high. This one is the perfect height. Easy for me tuck her into bed. It doesnt wobble like other taller loft beds either. The color is nice even though the gold railing is more darker gold but that doesnt bother me.
This bed is so much better quality than you think its going to be. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. My ONLY complaint is that the gold accents are NOT as pictured. The gold is flat and looks more brown than anything. If you can get past that; the bed is worth every single penny. Quick shipping!
