I am beyond livid! I ordered this bed for my 3 year old son. Not even a WEEK later, the freaking bed COLLAPSED WHILE HE WAS SLEEPING IN IT! The bed slats completely went down I am so angry! I put the bed up the day we got it everything was fine sturdy. Come to find out the slats are uneven! About two or three of them doesnt even stretch from each side of the bed frame, to stay sturdy they fall right through once one falls they all fall. Thank god my child wasnt hurt just a little startled. No he doesnt jump on it or play on it. He only relaxes and sleeps on it. I will leave pictures of how the slats look. In order for my child to sleep comfortably i have to use my old queen bed slats to rig it so that itll stay up and that is unacceptable especially after paying all this money! yet( Yea it was easy to assemble )
My husband got is assembled quickly and it seems really sturdy. There was 1 commenter on here that said the 2nd step is too close to the frame, that is 100 true. Our almost 2yr old has a hard time getting his footing on that step, were going to see if we can make that better ourselves. Our son has also been jumping on the bed, so far it has held up well. Ill definitely come back and update if something doesnt hold up on it.
This is a great bed, especially for a toddler. My 2 year old loves it and does very well in it. I do wish the second ladder step was lower. Its tough for him to get his foot in the step because it is so close to the frame.
Its Heavy! When it arrives. I liked that it is all real wood, not particle board. A couple of the pieces had a little splitting, like natural wood does. They didnt appear structural. I didnt like the crappy little hex bolts for almost everything. Power tools with torque settings have been around for a long time, wouldve been nice to use them, and saved a good bit of time. Have a helper for assembly, as that was pretty big. One point the directions had a layout issue, they showed one angled left and then the next step was angled right. It involved a little imagination. Seems sturdy though. I like that the lower part is almost on the ground, lower than even a toddler bed. Ball end hex keys helped speed the process.

USELESS LADDER
Overall good bed frame, however the ladder is utterly useless the second step is too high up and my kids feet has a hard time catching it.
