Not very easy to assemble and I heard wood cracking when screwing in the screws. Not a great value for the money. The chair looks nice, but came ripped. I needed something to sit on immediately and could not take the time to return it. Not sure how long this chair will last, but so far it holds a chubby adult. I was shopping for more of a living room chair and this is more of a fancy looking desk or a bedroom makeup vanity chair.
I received this chair fairly late. I had to contact the seller to confirm the package was lost in shipment, and the seller readily agreed to ship me a new one asap. That was great, however the rest of this was not. I received the chair today and when I went to assemble it I knew there was going to be issues. Why are the bolts to secure the front legs 10mm shorter than the ones to secure the back legs?
As I suspected this was an issue and the shorter bolts wouldnt thread for the front legs. I went out to two hardware stores and neither carry the M8x55mm size that was needed for the back legs (and what is really needed for the front legs) so I settled on a slightly larger M8(1.5)x60mm bolt set. Thank goodness I did because that is what was needed to really secure the front set of legs.
ALL of the legs are still a little wobblier than I would like, sturdiness/wise, which isnt really acceptable because all of the screws/bolts are screwed in place as far as they can possibly go without poking through the other side of the . Im not sure how long this chair will last me but it is beautiful and comfortable for now. Thank you to the seller for correcting the shipping issue but Im just not sure how sturdy this chair really is.
