    Kid bed

Pros - cheap, sturdy bed and looks attractive. Cons - Cant complain too much considering the price, but couple things I wish I had known prior to purchasing. First, the frame is too long for a standard twin mattress. As a result, there is about a 6 inch gap at the foot of the bed where the mattress doesnt cover and the frame is exposed. Also, the drawers dont sit flush with the frame when closed. The result is sharp drawer corners, which, if you have a young kid like us, can easily scrape a childs legs or other body parts when climbing up or sliding down the bed. Both issues can be dealt with, but would have been nice to know before purchase.

    Great bed

I bought two of these beds for my kids. All you need to purchase is a mattress. A box spring is not needed...great buy

    Furniture

Great piece, easy to follow directions and looks great in the room. Would like to get the rest of the pieces to match.

    Really good quality

I just bought this bed for my son. He lives 6 states away so I havent seen it in person, but hes sent me lots of pictures. It looks quite sturdy and by his account it really is. It is beautifully designed, though we were both surprised that the six drawers are not built into the bed but basically slides underneath. One side of the bed is open so it must go up against a wall. Other than that, it is perfect and an excellent bargain

    Great for the money

Hard to beat for the money but FAT people beware. This bed is made in Vietnam and I was there and I know there are no overweight folks in Vietnam. I am a fat 250 lbs so I did some reinforcing in a couple of places as I put the bed together. Was quite easy to do But right out of the box I dont think the bed would have supported my weight.

Who says theres no truth in advertising?

I love this bed. I had a futon for 2 years prior to my upgrading to this sweet sleeping platform and a regular old couch for 3 years before that. Both the couch and the futon were excellent for what they were. However, I am a little over 6 feet tall, and after several years of side sleeping in relative comfort, I finally decided it was time for a serious change. By this point I had saved up a comfortable nest egg and had just received my tax refund on top of that. Being somewhat flush with currency, I resolved that the time to act had come. I purchased this lovely bed with the Signature Sleep Contour 8-Inch Mattress for a grand total of $770 and change. Within 6 days both the mattress and frame had arrived. hired SAIA freight to deliver the bed frame and the only thing that even approached being complicated about the delivery was getting in touch with SAIAs Atlanta terminal to set up the actual drop off appointment (and that was actually very quick and easy once I found the bed frames shipping PRO ). The frame arrived in three boxes strapped very securely to a small pallet. The driver assisted me in separating the boxes and took the pallet packaging plastic with him. Later that night my partner and I had the the bed assembled in less than 3 hours with only the use of the provided allen wrench, our own cordless drill and a pair of small blunt nose pliers. The under drawers, bookcase head board and foot board all come fully assembled. The only potential downside I see with this bed is that the side opposite the drawers is totally open frame and therefore should be butted into a corner. Also, the mattress ended up being just a smidge too short and a touch too narrow. This was solved by folding up a pair of medium weight comforters I had on hand and stuffing the gaps with them after fully dressing the mattress. This last bit has absolutely nothing to do with the actual bed frame, but rather my miscalculating the mattress size. Overall, I am exceedingly satisfied with this purchase.

    Excellent Choice For My Kids

Most of the unit is pre-assembled, which is fantastic. Great quality, looks just like the advertised picture. Delivery was great. Very happy! Kids love it!

    Decent frame for the money

Frame took forever to assemble but instructions were clear and easy to follow. I dont like that the mattress sits on chip board or something (unfinished and ugly) and you see it because its larger than the mattress and you cant hide it with a bed skirt or you cover the drawers. Other than that, it looks good and is functional. Plus its low to the ground so my 3 year old can easily get in and out on her own. Weve only had it for 2 weeks so who knows about durability but so far so good...

    Great product!

For what it is (inexpensive furniture with manufactured wood) this is a great product. The packaging is poor so be aware that your item may be delivered with broken pieces. Ive purchased two of these beds plus a dresser one of the beds came busted up. scheduled a UPS pick-up and promptly replaced the bed and the new bed was fine. Not sure why the manufacturer does not package this better. This bed is great for what it is and has held up well for our foster children. It is very heavy in the package. My husband and I were unable to carry it into the house and weve had to open it outside and carry the pieces inside individually. For what it is, it is a great piece of furniture if youre looking for an inexpensive bed.
