I was worried the faux leather would look cheep but the bed looks nice. The trundle mattress must be around 8 or less. I had to swap out my 9 twin for a 6 twin b/c it was too thick to shut under the bed. Great product, great service
the directions for this looks like its done by a 6 year old. Not one written word explaining any part of the assembly. Just pictures explaining nothing. Should work on those instructions.
My daughter and her husband put this together before I arrived. They showed me the instructions which were horrible and incomplete. They said it took them 5 hours. The fabric and color looks like garbage. I am sick that I purchased this for them to use for their son in a tv room. Its just ugly. Bad decision to buy. If I could send it back assembled and get 75% of my money back Id be happy. Live and learn....
This day bed is perfection. There are few things I hate more than pleather but this daybed is quality. It looks more expensive than is, like a real luxury piece. I chose it for our lake house master bedroom for overflow children. Two of them helped me (a petite woman) assemble it and it was very straightforward. An electric screwdriver helps a lot. Pictured with a 10 inch Basics mattress. I may get a 1 inch topper to fill out the gaps more. Great choice!
Perfect for what I wanted. Found a foldable Queen mattress topper that I will keep for guests as the bed itself is very firm, but it is perfect for what I wanted day to day. If I wanted something that feels like a real bed, I would have ordered something that holds a real mattress. I was looking for something that would work as a sofa everyday, but converts quickly and easily to accommodate up to two guests. This was a bit pricey, but I am happy with the product itself. Great buy for the cost!
We built it, placed an 8inch mattress om the bottom and a 10 inch on the top as recommended, it looks beautiful. We have it in our guest room/ office. I would suggest thicker slacks for better support. Highly recomment it. It really looks AMAZING!!!! The quality of its exterior is so worth it. I love it. Nice product
I have a 12 mattress on this bed, which for the trundle I recommend an 8 and but no higher than a 10 mattress. Ive jumped/pounced on the bed with the mattress on it and it seems pretty sturdy (I weigh 130) and the bed is for my 11 year old daughter. The assembly is doable alone although I did find the long back board piece to be a bit frustrating it was doable with an extra hand. All in all happy with my purchase! Great investment!

We did not order black and the fabrics is almost black it is so dark. BEAST to put together.

The wood to support mattress is too thin.
