The instructions were clear and all but 2 pieces were labeled correctly. I split the set up between 2 hour sessions. 2 hours to do the bottom and 2 hours to assemble the top. I was surprised that nothing was broken during shipping. This came to IN from CA in great shape. So far there has been 1 screw that has stripped but well just glue it back in place. Considering my 2 and 5 year olds are the ones sleeping in the bed, its holding up well and looks great.
Update / we had to nail glue all the screws on the rail of the top bunk. Theyve all wiggled loose and stripped the holes which is cry because both kids prefer to share the bottom bunk and rarely go to the top.
Wonderful bed. Ordered an open box item and saved even more money. One part was damaged and the manufacturer quickly replaced the part with no hassle. Seems sturdy enough. I might add another cross beam on the top bunk, the mattress sags a little at one end, but thats to be expected at this price point.
Overall feels strong and durable just be patience with assembling procces and make sure you have an impact drill thia will make proccea a lot a lot easier just be gentle do not over tight the screws i used impact when to tight screws almost to end point and used an alen wrench (comes with kit) to finish procces
I found two areas on the headboards for the full size bunk that the wood was splitting off. I tried touching it up with some blue gray paint that I had available.
Takes two and cant use the hex wrench. No extra screws included. Need to use a ratchet screw driver, the a 6 yr old can do it! Watch that you dont use a wood screw with bolts by accident. Understand you can get free hardware if youre missing any.
I bought this bunk bed for my girls. It was not delivered on time in the first attempt, so I need to order it again. The wood is not hard enough as we thought. However, I would consider worth for the money I spent (bought it in Prime day deal).

Still holding up well. Bought Christmas of 2018.product is worth the cost.
