These are great beds. I bought two for my grandkids room.They are solid hard wood. I picked the walnut color. They are sturdy and strong. They dont move at all. The mattress fit snugly. The kids love them and whats great is they are adult twin beds for other adult guests to use.
I had to make deeper holes because they put all the screws of the same size and the wood of the small backrest is much thicker, and I had to cut 4 wood from the one of the base because that bed is narrow at the end and they do not fit at the end.
This bed is a very sturdy, well made focal point of my 4-year-old grandsons bedroom. The espresso wood is very dark, almost black, and it looks very striking with his brightly colored quilt. The storage drawer at the foot of the bed is very useful for an extra quilt, and it keeps the room looking neat. Very pleased with the price and quality of this purchase.

Good product. Very sturdy. Wood is real and solid. Only complaint is that its a bit difficult to assemble- and the the instructions in the manual of which screw parts to use for what is incorrect. In the first step, you gotta use screw 11 not 1 since there arent enough 1 needed for that step. But, overall I would purchase it again!
Ordered this product for my daughter recently and received the order earlier than it was mentioned on the order
The parcel came in a heavy box but the courier company delivered the parcel at the community mail room and I had to struggle to bring the parcel from there into my home.
The assembly of the bed step by step as instructed on the booklet along with the screws/edge-hammer and my own screwdriver took about 2 hours and it came out well. Of course I had to take the support from my family members to build this up.
The final piece was the additional storage box provided that turned out to be a box that can be stationed anywhere under the bed. It took some time to understand the way to assemble the left over parts for building the storage box and eventually we were able to get that done.
But I have to mention that I got carried away by that storage box when I decided to order this platform bed. I feel that they could have avoided this storage box and reduced the price of the item by some dollars.
So if you are just looking for a wooden platform bed with headboard, then please check other economical choices as the storage box provided in this case is just a mechanism to entice customers to buy it!!!
As of now the bed has been good though and I hope it is fine for a good period of time.
The good news is that the bed itself seems fine and sturdy. I like it a lot. The bad news is that the drawer is chipboard and so a piece of wood that I was supposed to screw into was loose and misaligned so that when I tried to screw it in it wouldn't and it just moved more out of alignment. Do yourself a favor and buy the version without the drawer, and if you have a few hours set aside to put it together you should be happy.

Not good quality
I dont think the price reflects quality of it. There were some chipped parts on wood, discoloration of wood, not satisfied with product
