Great bed, easy to assemble but 2 people is definitely recommended. Boyfriend and I got it finished in about an hour or two (including moving out the mattresses from the room, bringing them back in and making up the bed). Seems very sturdy.
I will be honest, I was so nervous after reading reviews regarding screws that did not fit or go in all the way. I had NO issues whatsoever. It actually took me longer to hang the lights and canopy. I am so in love with my purchase.
I decided to purchase this canopy bed because, I wanted a different feel in the master bedroom of my new home. I also wanted to be budget conscious with my purchase as well. Of course I read the reviews before purchasing, and after a few days of the item sitting in my cart, I finally purchased. The item arrived on time as promised. The bed comes in a long rectangular box, that is heavy, and requires at least 2 adults to lift. The instructions were straight forward, and each piece was labeled according to the instruction manual. It took my mate and I less than and hour to assemble. I am very please with the ending results. Its exactly as pictured online, its also sturdy. Sidebar: I caught my 5 yr old swinging from one of the top bars. As I watched her sway, before scolding her, I noticed that I didnt hear any noises or experience a shift in the bed as she swayed back and forth. I am very please with my purchase, thus far.
Its aming. The color is a little darker than in the picture but its really an aming bed frame. It was easy to assemble and it does not squeak or anything. Its great!
