Wish I wouldve know. Ahead of time to buy a spring mattress. Saw where others said that they bought a foam one so I followed suit. The warning labels say to use a spring mattress to avoid injury. Were going to have to modify as others have suggested by putting plywood down, but its a pain since were an hour from a hardware store. Otherwise it seems sturdy and was easy enough to put together. Hoping it will be a good height for our 3 and 4 yr olds. Will update after weve had it for a while.

I labored long and hard over many bunk bed reviews bouncing back and forth. I read the reviews about missing parts, cracked boards etc. I can say this, though. Not only did the company making this product do an amazing job, but the shipper and just ROCKED IT!!!
LOOK, there are products you buy that are good, do the trick and you are happy. We sort of expect that, even though every package we get on time and in one piece is a finely tuned melody of production, QC, packaging, transport and delivery all coming together to make a song for each customer. It is a feat. We are really spoiled. So thanks all! Just sayin'
On to my review:
Yes, when this huge two piece delivery came to my door attached to two polite and very strong young men toting it seemingly effortlessly AND in record time (given how large this bunk bed set is), I was THRILLED!!!
Save yourself the headache and go purchase barrel screws because the ones that are provided bend very easily so the screws won't screw in them properly. It stopped me from assembling it had to wait till the next day to purchase better ones at Home Depot.
So where do I start; this is a product that is better in theory or a better product in general. I havent had this bed for more the. Six months and the railing on the third bunk (very top) has already fell apart completely. The wood or fake wood that is used isnt made to with stand kids.

Solid bunk beds
Need two people to put together. Feel it is solid, however they are not as tall as we expected. The lower bunk sits directly on the floor.
Smaller, but nice
My sister and I were able to put them together ourselves. My only complaint is it's smaller than I realized.
