The overall construction of the sideboard is decent, definitely be careful while putting it together because the panels are all particleboard. When I initially received the package, one panel had been severely damaged in transit and I was unable to put the product together. I reached out to through their manufacturer website and they responded to me in about 2-3 days to send me a new sideboard.
Overall it looks great in my home. It looks high quality and is a great color. I wish the doors were a bit sturdier, they feel the thinnest/cheapest out of all the pieces. The top was very heavy for one person to lift but basically guarantees it wont tip over easily. Took me about 1.5 hours to put together mostly on my own and I had to have to my husband help put the top on. Not hard at all if you go slow!
The product came with a cracked door. Contacted vendor and will take 10-12 weeks for a replacement (will update if I receive it). They suggested returning the whole item for an exchange. I already assembled it and need a door. So will wait. The product isn’t very sturdy and unless you pack it with books or something heavy it will tip over. So if you have kids make sure you secure it to the wall somehow. Lastly, the drawers are extremely rough to open and close. If you are not careful, the piece will fall on you. The sturdy part are the metal legs. Overall it’s not a bad piece and I wouldn’t buy another product from this company. The back panel is thin and cheap. It feels that it’s mixed wood and particle board. It wasn’t hard to put together took me and my partner 1.5 hours. Do follow the instructions.
The buffet/sideboard is great and after assembly, its sturdy and Im happy about the purchase. However, the instructions are just pictures. No real this goes this way walk-through. There are a couple pieces that have to go in a certain way, and since youre working with wood glue to secure pieces, taking something apart to fix it can be a pain.
This sideboard table is bigger than I excepted, but bigger is better , it can hide more stuff. I spent about 45 minutes to assemble it by myself, instruction is clear enough.
