This was a great buy. I am pleased with the quality and price. I was shorted a couple bolts, however when I emailed the company they shipped me what I needed. I would buy this bed again.
I bought this bunkbed for my 41/2 year old son. What I love about this bed is the top rails are tall and sturdy. I have a 6 inch mattress on this but i think you could go 8. The ladder has wide pedals with a thick rubber overlay. Doesnt hurt bare feet to climb up! Bed is sturdy once put together! Although it does sway a bit on top if you are moving around but I think all bunks do this. Its VERY helpful to have and extra hand putting this together. I personally would have never got this together by myself.
The bed is for my guest room so that a kid can sleep above and parents below. The assembly took about 3 hours with 2 people, but was not too difficult. You do need to pay attention to the right and left pieces as we had to switch a few around. Good sturdy bed. The only complaint is that the stickers labeling the pieces are on the protective bags and not the actual pieces. We had to figure a few out before we realized what was up.
This bunk bed is perfect for a small space/low ceiling room with the on-ground bunk and minimal frame. The quality is great, my kids love it and my husband who hates building anything was able to complete it with ease! I bought a second one for our vacation home/studio as well for a space-saving bunk option.
Ordered this for my girls and they love it. If my oldest decided to jump off the stairs its literally not even 2 feet from the ground. Its the perfect size. Its a lot to put together but if you follow instructions carefully and read them right youll get it together easy. Its cute and perfect size for their little room
