This bed is very cute! However, not easy to assemble. The Allan wrench broke on the first turn, so make sure you have an extra one handy. The pieces are barely labeled with faint/partial letters. The instructions could be a little more clear, make sure to look at all of the pictures very closely. Some pieces were a bit damaged and not fully stained. Also, some of the pieces dont line up perfectly so some areas look a little wonky.
The pieces were not labeled properly and the instructions told us to use the wrong screws in some steps. It was super confusing and made it difficult to assemble, but otherwise a great product.
It was kind of difficult to assemble but once we got the hang of it, it turned out to be super cute. Would recommend a drill. And its got a really strong chemical smell, also suggest opening a window and airing out the room a few hours or maybe all day. All Together my son loves it! UPDATE: If you have allergies, asthma, Or any type of respiratory problems, I would suggest building it outside and letting it air out for a few days maybe even wiping it down really good a few times too. Its almost 3 AM, me and my son are sick as a dog coughing because Of breathing in these paint chemicals.
In general, it is very beautiful. we like it and the price is good.

2- The instructions book is ambiguous (many mistakes). (You need double check for litters numbers)
3- The screwdriver, that comes with it, is too short which make it too hard to install the frame (I used another screwdriver)
My daughter is obsessed with this bed. It was easy enough for my Mother and I to assemble. Its sturdy enough for toddlers to do toddler things. I can easily sit on the bed with her and theres no concern about the bed not supporting both of us.
For the high price after shipping, this bed was so cheaply made. Cracked so easily when putting it together. So upsetting after spending all that money, now we have cracked side pieces just from wanting it to be sturdy enough and screwing in the screws all the way.
Overall my wife and daughter love it. I had some struggles with assembly (especially with the bed rails and lining up the hex bolts) but put it together in about 1.5 hours aside from a few chips from shipping , looks great and we are already looking to find lights and pillows to dress it up.

Second it is huge (but I measured beforehand and knew it was going to take up most of the room)

HORRIBLE directions. But a nice bed overall. The kid loves it!
