I put this together by myself, it was fairly easy and took me about an hour, not to sure because I dont know what time I started and I had put one piece on backwards which was a quick fix because I never tighten all the screws until Im done.
I do wish there were pre/drilled holes for the mattress holder, but it was fine the wood was soft enough to screw into.
My only complaint was I dont like her screws which all manufacturers seem to be using these days.
I will update my review once the bed is actually put to use but for now I like it. Very sturdy and durable
Bought this for my kid. She loves it and thinks her new couch bed is the coolest thing ever. The pieces do feel a little flimsy, but it doesnt feel wobbly or poorly built once assembled. Very easy to assemble. Product was just as descriproduct
Before ordering this daybed I not only looked at everything that was available in my price range but read all of the comments on the Wooden Daybed Frame Twin Size. The bed was delivered in one box and each piece was held in place and protected from rubbing against another piece. After opening the box I carried each piece into the room and laid it on the floor as instructed in the instructions.
The instructions are so clear it was easy to put the bed together even though it took several hours. I used to be a technical writer so I can say with authority that the instructions are very well written and easy to use. They are visual and are not wordy.
A few suggestions. Be sure to count the pieces of the bed and all the hardware to make sure you received everything. Take the slats out from under the bed and put them aside so you wont have to keep stepping over them. The bolt design was new to me and it took a few minutes to understand that the bolt can be switched around to meet the screws, which come in from different angles. Dont tighten all of the screws until you have the bed completed. You may have to change something and it is easier to remove the screws if needed.
