Frame took forever to assemble but instructions were clear and easy to follow. I dont like that the mattress sits on chip board or something (unfinished and ugly) and you see it because its larger than the mattress and you cant hide it with a bed skirt or you cover the drawers. Other than that, it looks good and is functional. Plus its low to the ground so my 3 year old can easily get in and out on her own. Weve only had it for 2 weeks so who knows about durability but so far so good. But other than that its nice
For what it is (inexpensive furniture with manufactured wood) this is a great product. The packaging is poor so be aware that your item may be delivered with broken pieces. Ive purchased two of these beds plus a dresser one of the beds came busted up. scheduled a UPS pick/up and promptly replaced the bed and the new bed was fine. Not sure why the manufacturer does not package this better. This bed is great for what it is and has held up well for our foster children. It is very heavy in the package. My husband and I were unable to carry it into the house and weve had to open it outside and carry the pieces inside individually. For what it is, it is a great piece of furniture if youre looking for an inexpensive bed. We love it
Very nice bed but the shipping came to 88 dollars for each bed. I would not recommend buying these online. You are better off going to rooms to go for that price. Better then I thought
Bed came with 2 sets of hardware. One in white and one in a natural wood tone. It did make my sons room smell of plywood for about a month. The one weird thing is that the bed is slightly long for a regular twin size mattress when used without the headboard. So, when my son goes to slide off the bed, I have to worry about him scraping his shins (hes only 2, so he doesnt always remember). And, its still a tad too high for him to climb into on his own, so we have a little step stool on the end. Assembly did take about 3 hours, but, for the price, it was well worth it. Did not disappoint
I bought this for my 6 year old daughters room, when it arrived there we 3 pieces broke. I immediately claled the company in Canada and there was no hassle in getting replacements. They did take about 10 to 14 days to arrive. Putting together was ok until we got to the drawers. The did not line up the the pre drilled holes, we had to make our own. The pieces that hold the mattress do not look at stable so when they do give out we will replace with something stronger.
Overall, despite the hassles I like the way it looks. You wont regret it!
We bought this bed over 3 years ago for our daughter, who was three at the time. Storage is tight in our house, so I knew I wanted a bed with drawers underneath. I looked at some well/known brands and got sticker shock, so I thought Id try this cheaper version instead. It has held up very well! The drawers still open and close easily. We use them for clothing storage and they are very convenient. Adults have slept on this bed with no problem. (We have a basic memory foam mattress.) My only complaint is that the drawer knobs fall out. we have 3 of our original 6 still in place. I just need to buy new knobs and glue them in place as another reviewer suggested, and it will be fine. All in all, Im pretty thrilled with this bed for the price. Im actually here on to buy an identical one for my younger daughter! This is hardly an heirloom, but its a great choice for a kid who is ready for a big kid bed and who knows, it might last into her teenage years. Good Quality for Cost
This Item is a good buy. The problem is it comes with very small drawers compared with the depth of the unit itself, and the potential for much deeper drawers / which I will make myself. Even with that, the unit is sturdy enough and finished well, making it worth the money Pay attention to the pictures!
