I am in love with my new velvet chair. It was super easy to assemble. The legs come in 2 parts and you simply need to cross them over one another, lining up the evident notch that secures them. Then, use the included Allen wrench and screws to tighten together. This chair is firm. Which is what I was hoping. My kids are hard on furniture so if its firm, it stands a chance of surviving. Being velvet, it picks up cat hair. But I use a lint brush and the fur comes right off. The legs are a painted, matte gold. The velvet feels lux and soft. And the classic shell back is retro but very fresh right now. Better than expected.
VERY cute, fits my space perfectly as an accent chair. If you have a larger space would go great as a conversation set. The chair is wide and not too low.
Assembling: very easy, remember to line the legs up correctly and screw in just a bit at a time not all the way, once aligned then finished tightening all the screws.
Comfort: is puffed up and a little too firm. But Im assuming overtime it will deflate a bit from use.
My space: chair obviously . Sofa from article. Rug from overstock. Corner shelf from . Coffee table from . Record player stand from . Works great.
Extremely easy to assemble. This chair is a perfect accent chair for a bedroom. It is small enough for a corner or nook and is a comfortable seat for reading. I am so glad I bought it! Good,
This chair is gorgeous, and has a retro look without being over the top. The velvet is a dark teal color and is very soft and comfortable to the touch. The cushion and back have thick padding.
The tapered legs are brass colored, but because they are a bit muted, they dont look too glitzy.
This chair would look nice in so many settings / a small reading corner, a desk, a side chair in a living room, even a sun porch.
There were no instructions, but assembly is easy / pretty much attach the legs to the bottom of the seat. An allen wrench is included.
I did have to go back and tighten the legs again once after I first put this together. But after a few days of use it still feels stable. I agree with the other reviewers/questions that a weight rating should be listed though.
Dimensions: seat is 23 wide, 21 deep. 17.5 high from legs to seat, 31.5 high from legs to back of chair. Just as seen in the picture!!!
This chair was very simple to assemble. It took less than 10 minutes to get the legs screwed on. It is very pretty. It looks like a mid century modern piece. The velvet upholstery is very attractive. It happens to match my sofa perfectly too, which is a huge plus! Good!!
