This is a great little set for the price. If you are concerned about any of these negative reviews, 99 of them are null and void if you can 1. Remember you have purchased a 300.00 set, not a 3000.00 set, 2. FOLLOW ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. That little dimple someone took a photo of? Yea, you got the bolts mixed up, there are only a few millimeters difference, easy to do. Not sturdy? Yea, you tightened things too early or unevenly, this thing is sturdy as a rock. You cant Push against the table to get up without the table slidingare you serious? Of course you cant, its a 300.00 table. Its not real wood? IT SAYS IT ISNT in the description. Also, again, 300.00. It didnt hold up because you let your little hellion children use it as a jungle gym (Ive seen some of yall in restaurants, I cant imagine what you let them do at home), of course it didnt. If any of the above sounds like something that would happen at your house, you probably do need to skip this item, and go ahead and save up about 3000.00 and buy something at the furniture store. If you are a reasonable adult human, there is no reason why this table wont last you for years. Its OK.
It took me and and my sister about 3 hours to build this table. Including the time we took to open up the boxes, separate screws and all of that. It was pretty easy (with her help!). It turned out a lot better than I expected. Good news is that my puppies (5 months) have not had the urge to nip at this table or chairs yet. Probably because of the plastic wood? Hence why I needed to purchase an affordable table and not too expensive. Overall its great. Will update my review if something breaks or falls apart in the near future lol. My mom loves it.
If the instructions were clearer than it would be a super easy assembly. But the directions are very vague. Nothing is labeled so you have to figure out which screw fits what. For the table assemble the legs and then add the storage rack. And above all things dont tighten anything so that things can align properly Easy to set up.
Everything looks good but the chairs will eventually get wobbly and need to tighten. The bench is bent. Even when you never sit in it. Just with time is somehow gets wobbly tilted. Im going to give it away. I love this!
I really like this table, chairs, and bench set. It does have a lot of pieces and a lot of screws. But I didnt have any problems putting it together. Do one item at a time, use the right screws for each thing (dont mix up the screws! They are clearly marked) and another tip (Dont tighten the screws down until you get the entire piece together, it needs to move a little to fit together). Good product!
Okay redoing this cause Im stupid and did not realize the chairs would come separately. they all came on the same day, but in different deliveries. About the table. it seems as if you put something heavy on it or slammed something down on accident, it would get a dent in it. So its not sturdy in that sense. It doesnt topple though, so thats good. The bench and chairs are awesome. Its a nicely sized table, but I think if you are one of the families that put a lot of stuff on top of the table as a sort of place table, I would look elsewhere. Absolutely beautiful.
