Historically I wear hip waders but, because of my more recent size, (510 245lbs size 10 shoe) I have trouble getting the boots to fit over my calf while wearing long pants. These chest waders solved my problem. I ordered for my shoe size, I added the insoles from an old pair of sneakers for a bit of support and thick socks for warmth and the fit is perfect for my feet. Also, there is enough room for my chest, calf, thigh, belly and butt. Sitting is no problem. No leaking on the maiden voyage, but time will tell. For the price, at my age, if I get a season or two out of them Ill be happy.
The tightening cord is right above the pocket which makes it very annoying to use. Also to pocket is so small it is hard to fit a phone. Overall the waders work great and a great value. I am 57 and fit fine.

It worked perfectly, the fit was excellent and Wasnt snug at all. You order it by shoe size and I normally wear a size 8 but the size 7 fit perfectly
