Disliked that it had a lot of parts screws which my 18 yr old grandson had to assemble took one hour. Yet I liked it is very sturdy, good wood quality, 2 draw space, rolls especially the computer tray which allows me to turn and use it while Im in bed. Also price was great!
This piece comes with directions that require you measure out each piece to know which piece to use in the assembly. The many pieces are not marked, including the hardware. I unfortunately missed the return date, but am going to literally throw this item away.
I bought this to use as a mini office. I like that the arm swivels out 360° and is height adjustable. I just wish it was manufactured with either the option to mount the arm on the other end, or a version of the desk w/other side mounting was available for purchase.
My setup is like this: seating to the left, desk to the right (lengthwise) along my wall. If I only swivel the laptop 90° its okay, despite the neck pain from turning to my right for hours on end.
But if I need to swivel the laptop 180(ie, to give my neck a break and position the laptop right over my lap), then I have to rotate the entire desk so the back is against my chair and the front/magazine holder thing is facing the wall.
I wish they sold a model with the arm on the magazine holder side because it would work better for me, personally.
Aside from that, I didnt have any issues w/missing or damaged parts. Its cheap pressed wood or particle board so I dont think its worth the $120 price tag (the Prime Day $29 savings is BS; I bought this in April for $120. Youre literally saving $5 lmao) but all the pieces are thick heavy so I dont think its going to fall apart.
Ive had a 17 laptop on this since April, sometimes with a 32 oz Hydroflask as well have had no issues of the arm slipping retracting or flopping down.
Actually, once my cat jumped on my laptop and her weight did cause the laptop desk arm to slope down. I freaked, thinking my expensive laptop was going to kiss the floor, but the bumpers on the front and back of the laptop desk kept my laptop secure, even though it was now sloped at a 30 angle.
My husband put this together for me and it took him 3 days off an on. He frustrates easily. But I love the end product. I can keep it right next to my chair and when I use my laptop I just swing it around so it is right in front of me. Lots of on the spot storage.
I bought this table on 06/13/2022. I love the design and possibilities but have problems after the first couple of week the tabletop tube is collapsing and the setscrew handle stripped. Can I get replacement parts or something? Im unable to return the table being disabled not having someone to take it apart and repackage it. Really disappointed?
Price is reasonable and quality for price is good. It is sturdy. There are some design issues and the company reached out to me on design suggestions, they are rectifying the design and I am impressed with them. I highly recommend there products and I will buy from them again. I recommend you try this in visual room imagery to check for function.
I needed added storage in my living room next to my chair. This item addressed my need. It is sturdy and the price was right but I had a little trouble assembling it. The directions and the pictures didnt always match up. Also, some of the boards had swirls of something also black on it. I wondered if had been previously used. However, after assembling it the goofy stuff doesnt show. It is perfect for my needs.
Other than a couple scratches on the boards when they arrived, this works perfectly. To be fair, I didnt contact the sellers to try to get a replacement that wasnt scratched as I could easily hide the marks.
