Pieces are very sturdy and while UPS/FedEx is likely to drop kick things are packed pretty securely and thoughtfully. So if anything got damaged UPS/FedEx had to try real hard. Directions were decent. I put all 4 legs on and then realized the bottom piece couldnt fit on so had to remove one leg, slip in bottom shelf and put leg back. All in all very well built and I like the piece. I noticed in certain areas the table was even while in others it was tilty which means my floor is not even!
