I wanted a swing for a sensory room I was putting together for my daughter. She is 10, so the pod style ones would be too small for her. I ordered this hammock chair, and it worked perfectly! Super easy to assemble, and super sturdy.Good.
I got this as a white elephant gift so nobody has used it yet but it comes packaged in a plain brown box. So Im not sure how Im going to use it for white elephant but if it sits comfortably thats what truly matters. Might have to keep it for myself!!! Attractive and strong.
We bought our first hammock swing for about 20, I looked around for the cheapest of the bunch. A few weeks later we bought our second (different colors). It sets up in about 2 minutes and its easy to find the hardware necessary to attach to ceiling, etc. We now have two rooms with ceiling hooks to hold hundreds of pounds in a swing. Go get you one! Or two!!
Its a couple months later, Ive got a pic of me hanging up the swing, holding a 5 month old in the other arm. That easy! I like swinging quietly or just resting my butt a minute, in the office but sometimes we dont wanna hit our head on it so we just unhook it and set it to the side.
Likewise, the kids can take it apart. Sometimes they like swinging up high and tie the swings all up where I cant reach. No problem!
Update, its been another couple months and Im having a hard time keeping track of the ropes and bar, after kids get done with it! It was still worth the cheap 20 but I might find a sturdier swing in the future. Wouldnt be a problem if I didnt have five young children going wild on swings every day in the play room. Amazing!!!
This is a great chair for the price, ppl complaining S hook didnt hold probably didnt properly close the hook du install. U want it to hold heavy weight really any weight safely, u need to crimp the hook closed!!! Large channel lock pliers or vice grips will do this. If u have neither simply put in vise or hold on ground and tap repeatedly til closed with a hammer then hang it. Personally my only complaint is no screw hook to affix it to the ceiling Otherwise great product especially for price!! My Nephew likes it,
We absolutely love these chair swings and use them all the time. Our 6 year old daughter loves to curl up in them and read outside and theyre great for snuggling and enjoying nature. I would highly recommend these. Theyre also easily washable and incredibly comfortable. My son loves it!
I love this swing so much, I have bought three of them! I have a home in the Bahamas and I wanted to take a swing like this there but the wooden rod is too long to fit into my luggage. Enter THIS aming option, with a metal rod that comes in three pieces!!! Perfectly travel friendly in every way, I am in love with this design. The swing is sturdy, comfy, and looks nice. Definitely recommend this item, especially if you travel. Easy set up.

Cute but rope will probably not last 1 year. Might scream while assembling.
