Very firm. I sat down in the chair with a thud feeling vs ahh comforting feeling. Its soft (velvet/like), and matches my branding colors. Not difficult to put together/ screw on the feet, put the felt pads on the feet, flip it over and slide the back on (which did need my body weight periodically).
I will say it is a very pretty shade of blue. I wish I had room for an occasional chair.
First of all the legs, although rapped well, where all scratched up and looked like they had been used before. The chair is pretty enough but it is very tiny. I was picturing it being a full size chair from the pictures. I looked at it for like a month before purchasing it, as well as looked at several pics in reviews. I did measure the space prior to purchasing, but there must be some sort of optical illusion at play here, because for some reason I was picturing it to be larger in the seating area. Im 5.8 and I have short lower legs. The height of the seat is nice, but the seat and back are much smaller and more shallow than they appear in pictures, even in my pictures. Theres not enough room for both me and the pillow and Im a fairly generic sized person. I wear between a 32/34 waist pant. I cant imagine sitting in it for more than 30 minutes or so. I was planning on watching tv or reading books in it, so it will probably need to be returned. I really hate returning things, but I have no space for occasional . This would be a good size chair for a waif thin petite person, or a teen. I expect a wing back chair to be roomie and at least support my shoulders.
Update: returning this chair is likely going to be a huge hassle as they do not offer the normal free return labels, which is not normal for Amon and not indicated in the post. If you are at all on the fence about the size, dont buy it.

The companys customer service was great! Their communication was fantastic and swift. All issues I had, they handled quickly. 11/10 LOVE LOVE!!

great chair for the price
was easy enough to assemble although I would not recommend putting the pads on the bottom of the legs made the chair unstable . ok value for the money
