I really like how small it is! Just big enough for two people. The sturdiness is not the best but for the price I expected it! Sturdier than I expected
I bought this table for my studio apartment. I am okay with the quality for the price paid. I had to set it up alone which may have made things a little bit harder but I would say you can do it too! The legs are uneven, leaving it wobbly.this may be due to me setting it up alone. I fixed this by cutting a little bit of cardboard from its box and leaving it under the highest leg. You cant see this so I really dont mind. My only other concern is that the stools didnt have holes for the screws when placing the cushion on top, so you had to make your own. I went to pull on it afterwards to make sure it was secure and the cushion came right off. I do not like this, although I turned the cushion, re/screwed the holes and didnt try pulling on it. Overall it is cute and it works for me. I would definitely buy again.
My photos were taken during installation. Last thing anybody needs is pictures of it already built.
tl;dr
All in all, even though there are some minor issues with assembly and the stool cushions are cheap, the tabletop itself was worth the full price of ownership.
I recommend this for small spaces.
JO
The frame is extruded aluminum (looks galvanized) using well understood powder coated finishing techniques reminiscent of aluminum patio. The welds look like theyve been done by machine instead of by hand, a big plus.
The hardware is what one with any experience building from the far east would expect. Hope youve got your Allen bits handy and remember criss cross apple sauce or your finished items will wobble like a bobble/head in an earthquake.
The table top was individually packaged, with resin corner guards in an effort to keep the corners from being damaged and to also keep the tabletop finish from being damaged in shipping. There was effort and experience put into the packaging of the product and this is much appreciated. Each piece of the frame was individually bagged and the hardware was sorted and pouched.
The laminate surface of the tabletop itself is very high gloss, of a thick laminate material and extremely attractive. It is one solid resin laminate wrapped on all 6 sides continuously. In other words, there are no unfinished sides of the table top. It gives the appearance of being solid granite.
4 STARS
The reason this product does not get 5 stars is the minor issue with the assembly instructions and a moderate problem with the stool cushions. As the cadence of this review has probably made some of you aware, I have a lot of experience in the manufacture and life of of the materials used in this product.
A 7th grade could write better instructions.
The assembly instructions do not indicate which direction the frames should be oriented for the best fit and finish. The pouch also does not label the hardware, forcing the more laymen (and laywomen and lay/non/binaries) to have to measure screws to match where they need to be in the pictures on the hastily created assembly manual. These are however, trivial issues to any who have even a small amount of experience with far eastern prefabricated assembly. Take your time and it should be easy to figure out. (Hint: separate the 4 longest screws early on!)
Almost perfect if not for.
The more major issue is the way in which the stool frames are to be attached to the stool cushion bottoms. Normally, you would see a sturdy plate of aluminum to which the cushion is attached and then to which the frame attaches. This stool cushion only has a very thin piece of dust/board that is (i assume) glued to the bottom of the stool cushion. The instructions indicate that 4 threaded, screws be pushed into this dust/board through pre/made homes at the top of the frame.
This makes the stool top quite fragile if it were to take any significant bumps while being moved or if any extreme weight were to be put on it. (Like trying to stand on one to reach a lightbulb. dont do that.) Sliding it out, sitting on it, and sliding it back under the table should be fine.
All in all, the tabletop itself was worth the full price asked, and the stools should last if you dont try to stand on em.
I recommend this for small spaces.
JO Highly recommend
It looks nice but the screws in the stools loosen over time and the chairs sway. Definitely good for light use and for people who are not heavy. The screws began to loosen in the stools and I could not fix it. Well made and comfy!

Studio Kitchen
Instructions are Lettered May need drill for seats. Not as bad as I thought. Pretty easy. Good height! Quality seems to be good so far
Ok for light use

Great For Its Value
