Looks super awesome but not honestly that sturdy. Not recommended for plus sized adults.

Doesnt feel super sturdy. Im 200 lbs and while i can sit on it/ and it doesnt break or anything, if i move my rear it definitely wiggles a small amount. (And I did both use a drill For some screws and hand screw every hex screw in very tight again and again). It sort of makes me wonder if it WILL just give out one of these days when Im just eating eggs or something. I dont feel confident in its sturdiness the way I am some other assembled chairs I own (dinning room, kitchen, office/ so Im not opposed to a flat pack chair/ this just isnt the best Ive seen in sturdy). My husband is a huge, tall, heavy guy and I dont really feel comfortable with him sitting on these regularly. I think they will mostly be used for kids. Something about these plastic foot bottoms on them makes them sooo slippery on hardwoods. You could literally just push it with one finger and it would scoot across the floor. They literally slide out from under you when you try to sit on them. Then when you do sit they sort of move a slight amount from the force of you sitting on them and you are gripping the counter like ahh, dont take off on me. I almost feel like I need to CAREFULLY hold it on the sides and gently and slowly perch myself on it (and thats not what Im looking for at a breakfast counter used by a large family). When my kids try to climb up the rungs of them they start moving like cry like they are going to go flying out from under them. We almost had one bang chin on counter incident with 3 year old in the first few days of use (he only just caught the counter and stedied himself just in time after tipping when it moved as he climbed up). You NEED some type of cover for the bottom of these feet (unless maybe if you are using on carpet). I am going to try felt chair circles, as I have that on hand and see if that helps. Something engineered and rubber or silicone might make them much safer too. (Something to make it grip the floor instead of sliding while you sit would be better). Takes about 25 minutes per stool to unbox and assemble (2 total, so almost one hour total). Its pretty obvious how it goes together once you look at the instructions you can sort of just go with it. Assembly was totally reasonable. You do need a power drill to assemble. The bottom rungs you would put feet on are screwed in instead of the hex key way that the legs are screwed in. The tops have a beige linen like upholstery with a textured stripe in the weave look to them. About 3 days in and they already have stains on them from my kids/ so I dont think they are particularly kid friendly. They sort of scream wipe your hands on me to toddlers due to the height of them. I was impressed so far with them wiping clean though. I cant get them pristine after chocolate on them, but I can get them much much better. So they do wipe way more clean than a shirt would for example. The fact that arent crisp white helps too. The neutral color helps a little as does the textured pattern on them. Ive just been using a wet nubby washcloth and scrubbing with water only and then letting them dry. I love the look of them, I just wouldnt want to sit on them daily. I thought they might be a major upgrade in my frequently used kitchen counter, but I honestly think Ill stick to my chipped but sturdy wooden stools. I think Ill place these in a basement at a kitchen island where they will look nice, but get used less frequently and be more decorative and fit into the rustic farmhouse decor. Overall Id only recommend if you dont weigh a lot.

    Beautiful and simple!

Assembly was a breeze and I ran across something for the first time. Rather than having all hardware in one box or bag / they actually had it separated for each chair. It was wonderful! Had these together in no time and cant be happier! Love them / the color, as you can see, is a bit on the antique green/gold side on the wood. Tops are a durable material with nail heads and I am happy! They seem to be sturdy / not something you can bounce around on or tip and play with / but sturdy enough for periodic use. Well just make sure everything is tight every now and again because, as you may know, you get a screw loose every now and again!!

Farmhouse chic/ well made and very pretty!

These gorgeous farmhouse style stools are gorgeous! The assembly was a little more involved than I had hoped (instructions are dodgy too but were handy around here) but we got it all done with a screwdriver and the fallen wrenches provided. After securing the screws in tight these held together nice and well. The wood is finished in a rustic style and is smooth to the touch. Cushions are upholstered in a sturdy herringbone fabric thats easy to care for and adds nice texture and interest. The shiny chrome/finish nailheads are a great finishing touch. These are the 30/inch height. I really like them!

Well priced, easy to assemble, sturdy and fabric cleans easily! Highly recommend!

Honest review here. I read some review that these are not sturdy but I assembled these myself (that was easy.just screws and legs) and I found it to be sturdy and well made. You must secure all the screws properly and tightly. IT doesnt wiggle or wobble at all. They are made of wood construction and have feet on the legs to protect the floorwhich is a great addition. The fabric is made of polyester which I thought would be not ideal but guess what? They clean up easily and they look like real fabric (I included a picture of these and the stools so you can see the quality). The herringbone design totally makes them nicer than the price. And you would NEVER KNOW they are polyester had you looked at them and not be aware of that! Love the nail head feature too! I got the set of 2 that are 26 inches high. Perfect for a counter stool. Overall size: 14. 25W x 14. 25D x 26H; Seat Height: 26H. The seat is comfortable and cushioned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 2 for the price is great too!

    I love the look

I love the aged wood look of this stool. Its not too formal looking, but I wouldnt call it country or rustic either. Its a nice blend that looks great in my traditional kitchen.

    Matches my arm chairs

If you like everything to match, youll be in for a treat when you add this andbarstool to your collection of Taupe dining chairs, like the ones I bought at . The wood has that old veneer appearance and the whole stool is well made and very comfortable. An excellent buy.

    Beautiful stool

This stool comes fully disassembled. There was no manual provided but it was easy to figure out what went where. The regular screwdrivers didnt work since the little bolts had specific opening that only the little wrench provided could be used for. The finished stool is very beautiful and has hand crafted look to it. Very well made stool.

    Pretty good chair

Good quality, but the company needs to put a dab of loctite on the Allen key screws. Ive had to tighten them a few times now in the last 3 mths. I will have to buy some and do it myself. If not this product could have been an 4 or 5 star

Very pretty and perfect for small kitchens

Overall nice stools. Very pretty and comfortable. Id suggest using plumbers tape for the bolts and they keep coming loose causing the stools to wobble. My only complaint is that the legs are not pre/drilled for the foot rest dowlings which makes it hard to put them together. Use a drill. One of the screws stripped half way and now has no support but its still sturdy enough. Id also suggest using wood glue for the downings. Im happy enough for the price and they look great in my space.
