Easy to assemble, great quality and value, very soft! A little stiff out of the box but after sitting on it a few times its softened up! Seriously a great price for this quality, im impressed (and grateful!). I wanted a pretty, decorative couch for my home office and this couch is everything I wanted, so gorgeous!! I esp love that I dont have to add pillows to make it pretty, its perfect how it is with the simple yet classy side pillows it comes with. Just perfection!
Just as described I spent almost a year looking for a blue velvet couch, and when I came across this one it was the exact blue I had been looking for, though the blue in person is a little more muted than the companys picture, still very happy with the color. I loved the style and that the seat was one cushion and there were no button-tufted cushions. I wanted a smaller couch for my space and this fit perfectly in my living room, as a shorter girl, its lowered height from the floor works perfectly for me. I also love how easy it is to get dog hair off of, a couple sweeps with my hand held vacuum and the dog hair is gone. Though I do put a sheet over it at night, just to cut down on the hair I have to vacuum off, since my dog has decided its his new bed. The couch came in a huge box but since it was delivered on my front porch I just scooted it inside and unpacked it, it was easy to assemble, had it all together in about 30 minutes. The seat cushion is a little more firm than Im used too, but I really like that. The back cushions are soft instead of firm which is perfect for when Im curled up with my dog and reading. They also come off whenever I need to take them off to clean or vacuum. The two round pillows make the couch look nice but really dont work when laying down, but I was planning on getting throw pillows for when I lay down anyways.
me and my fiancé are getting our little home together due to the we get married in 3 months, the second we saw this couch we knew it was the one, but one thing is seeing it online and the other in person, all I gotta say is that its exactly like I imagined, its just right for our forever home.
For starters, Ive only had this couch since yesterday so I can only provide so much information but I will do my best to leave a comprehensive review -
Each piece is individually wrapped, including the back pillows which are stored in a zipper compartment in the underside of the base. The legs of the chair as well as all required screws + a monkey wrench are also stored in the underside with the legs being individually packaged in bubble wrap. The major pieces are the back + seat cushion (which is attached), the back, and 2 couch arms.
Assembly: Assembly took a bit of retry and the directions arent very detailed. First you screw the legs onto the base and tighten using a monkey wrench (assembly does not require drilling or power tools - all necessary tools come with the couch. This is a huge perk for me because it means the couch disassembles the same way it arrived, making it easier for transport if/when I move). I didnt have any issues with the holes aligning with the screws.
Then you add the arms. If you are facing the couch from the front, the siding with the pocket with be on the right side. The arms are attached via an interlocking V shaped bracket, which takes some trial and error. The reason being is the padding on the arms make it challenging to get as close against the couch end as needed to lock in the brackets. It took me maybe 3 or 4 times of readjusting to make sure each bracket was interlocked (there are 2 spots on each end where the brackets must align).
From there you press down to seat the brackets and then add the back. The back piece uses the same V brackets to slide in. There is a fabric flap attached to the back of the back piece which attaches to the bottom via velcro; this ensures that the back matches the same fabric as the rest of the couch.
IMPORTANT: If you go to attach the back piece and it looks like its going to be too short, DO NOT PANIC. All you need to do is slide one side into the bracket so it is fully attached, then press in the arm of the opposite side in towards the center of the couch until the brackets meet. (I was about ready to cry when this happened to me, but thankfully in the Q A someone had a similar problem and a solution was posted). Think of it like trying to make a right angle with the back of the couch and the arm.
From there the last step is to make sure the back is fully seated and add the pillows. Something to note is the back pillows dont cover the length of the couch fully - you need to use the cylindrical pillows to fill in the gaps (like this: ???? ).
Quality/Comfort: Someone else also commented that it leans more towards a suede material than a velvet one and I tend to agree, although I think its a bit more of a hybrid. When you first sit down on it, the foam is very firm. But even after a day it feels more comfortable and I find the couch to be great for lounging/watching tv. I ordered the blue and its a beautiful, rich color! It has that texture where if you run your hand over it, itll become lighter/darker depending on which direction you were touching it. I have noticed that the couch already has a scratch in the fabric (likely from my cats) so its not the most durable fabric if you have pets that are prone to scratching.

Beautiful,study
It is beautiful and sturdy but I wish the back was little more firm and has little more support! I love the seat and holds 2 adults comfortably!
